Statement from City Council President Mosby on the distribution of Maryland’s coronavirus vaccinations

“The distribution of this vaccine is the key to ending this public health crisis, rebuilding our economy and making sure we can save every life possible,” City Council President Nick J. Mosby said. “With an outbreak as deadly and devastating as this, hours matter. I trust that our state leaders, hospital administrators, nursing home operators and every last public health official in Maryland will use this wake-up call to move with speed and urgency. We need to embrace technology and use data to distribute this vaccine equitably, efficiently and effectively.

“We must work together at all levels of government to protect our communities and, ultimately, our country. This is a problem of a lifetime and it is our duty to collectively solve it.”
