Southwest Baltimore Crime Summit

Council President Young will host a crime summit with residents, business leaders, police officials and representatives from various City agencies and departments to discuss a plan to combat rising crime in Southwest and Southern Baltimore. Since the beginning of the year, Police Area 2, which includes the Southwest, Southern, Western and Northwestern Districts have outpaced other sections of the City in homicides and non-fatal shootings.
