Lawrence Rashad Anderson

A public affairs executive skilled in leading strategic initiatives, Lawrence Rashad Anderson worked as chief of staff for Richmond City Council and previously served as an analyst for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Inspector General.

 

His career spans two decades with progressive leadership experiences at federal, state and local levels of government. He earned a master of arts in political communication from American University and a master of public administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. He also held fellowships with the Journalism Initiative at Yale University and the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia.

 

He oversees the Office of City Council President and guides the team in executing President Mosby’s vision for Baltimore.
