Paris Timothy Gray is a proud son of Southwest Baltimore, where three generations of his family have called the 8th District home. Today, he lives in the Rognel Heights neighborhood with his wife, Lindsey, and their son, Parker, continuing a legacy rooted in service, community, and deep civic pride.

Paris’s unwavering commitment to his community led him to accept the role of Community Outreach Coordinator for Baltimore’s 8th Council District in 2020. In that position, he became a trusted liaison between city government and the people it serves—building lasting partnerships with neighborhood leaders, faith-based institutions, school principals, and elected officials to bring resources and visibility to the district.

With a reputation for hard work, integrity, and results-driven service, Paris was called to take his leadership further. He ran for City Council—and won—becoming the Councilman for Baltimore’s 8th District. In this role, he remains a tireless advocate for equity, opportunity, and neighborhood revitalization, championing policies that uplift families and empower communities across the city.

Paris is an alumnus of St. Ignatius Loyola Academy, McDonogh School, and attended Indiana University. His educational journey and lived experience fuel his passion for inclusive, community-centered leadership.

In addition to his work on the City Council, Paris serves on the Advisory Board of the Chesapeake Bay Outward Bound School and is a trusted advisor to Hope Harbor CDC, where he helps shape innovative approaches to community development.

Paris believes that when communities are empowered, Baltimore thrives—and his life’s work is dedicated to making that belief a reality.
