Governor Hogan issued an Executive Order in August directing the Maryland Department of Planning to prepare a new State Development Plan, which they are calling “A Better Maryland.”  Acting Secretary Rob McCord and Special Secretary of Smart Growth, Wendi Peters will brief the Council on this plan.
