Baltimore City Council: 7th District

Belinda is a native of Baltimore City. She was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools and is a graduate of Western High School. Belinda earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowie State University and a Master of Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Giving back to the community that offered her so much is a priority. Upon graduation, Belinda embarked upon a career with the Baltimore City Public Schools as a guidance counselor. She has been able to touch the lives of countless students and parents for the past twelve years. In her fervent attempt to extend her community service, Belinda declared her candidacy for the office of City Council and won the seat for the 7th District. Earlier this year, she was an elected delegate for the Democratic National Convention in Boston, Massachusetts.
