COUNCIL PRESIDENT’S STATEMENT REGARDING GUILTY VERDICT IN TRIAL OF SLAIN FORMER COUNCILMAN 

BALTIMORE, MD – “Today’s guilty verdict in the murder trial of my friend and former colleague, Councilman Kenneth Harris, is a tangible example of justice being served for the Harris family and the entire City of Baltimore.

Ken – filled with enough ideas, passion and knowledge to help transform Baltimore into a safer, world-class city – was taken away from us far too soon.  

I would like to thank the men and women of the jury for their service and for taking their responsibility as judges seriously.”
