FOR the purpose of extending the automatic termination of the tax credit for

certain improvements to historic properties; providing for a special effective date;

FOR the purpose of permitting, subject to certain conditions, the construction and

maintenance of portions of a building projecting into the public right-of-way on the

Payments in Lieu of Taxes - Ward 03, Section 06, Block 1800, Lot #0001, "701

Aliceanna Street"

FOR the purpose of authorizing an economic development project to be known as

"701 Aliceanna Street", in order that the Board of Estimates of Baltimore City (the

"Board") may enter into a Payment in Lieu of Taxes Agreement with Harbor East

Parcel D-Acquisition, LLC, its successors or assigns (the "Owner") covering a

portion of the Owner's property, consisting of (i) office space consisting of

approximately 500,000 rentable square feet, and (ii) a structured parking facility

containing approximately 1,200 parking spaces and related improvements;

generally relating to payments in lieu of taxes for the 701 Aliceanna Street

development; and providing for a special effective date.

Dwelling Units - Utility Cut-Offs

FOR the purpose of requiring gas and electric utilities to provide certain notices

before terminating service to a dwelling; requiring the Fire Department to inspect

for and, if needed, install smoke detectors in dwellings to which the electricity has

been cut off; requiring the Housing Commissioner to revoke the occupancy permit

of a dwelling to which the gas or electricity has been cut off; and generally relating

to the termination of gas or electric service.

setting 9th national lacrosse championship, and their 2nd in the last 3 years,

winning the 2007 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship in an extremely close

12-11 game in front of a record 48,443 fans in Baltimore's M&.T Bank Stadium;

offering congratulations to Coach Dave Pietramala on another fine Blue Jays

season; sending respect to Hopkins Goalie Jesse Schwartzman who made 15 saves

in the final and was named the tournament's most valuable player; and wishing

many more victorious seasons to the entire Johns Hopkins Lacrosse team, families,

Police Staffing Shortage - Baltimore City's Rainy Day Is Here!

Urgent Request for Assistance - Baltimore City Police Staffing Shortage

Baltimore City Police Force to enable the City to curtail the rise in violent crime;

Community Task Force on Police Auxiliary Assistance

Funds to "make whole" the $25 million pledged for BCPSS new construction and

renovation of local school buildings and to maintain the Administration's current

operational budget commitment to after-school and community-school programs.

Baltimore City Animal Control

FOR the purpose of urgently requesting the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore

City to immediately provide adequate funding to the Baltimore City Bureau of

Animal Control, the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc., (BARCS),

and the Baltimore City Police Department to successfully address issues of animal

control, cruelty to animals, and endangerment of persons by vicious animals in

Baltimore City and to increase the funding in succeeding years until the funding

levels are equal to those in other American cities of comparable size and

demographics.

Appropriation in the amount of $637,000 to the MR-Civic Promotion - Program
